Our Story

We met July 2015 whilst working on a project together. Karen was new, doing a placement role as part of her university plan. The work friendship escalated to our first date at the end of September.

Since then, we have traveled locally in the UK to various places, from London, to the Scottish Highlands. We bought a house in 2018, and have been in never-ending DIY projects ever since, including this website lol.

Karen moved around a lot. She was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and moved to USA when she was young. She lived in Florida and then Minnesota, getting a degree in Graphic Design. She wanted to learn more about web and coding but she also wanted to travel. Karen moved (once again!) to the UK this time to further her education and also explore the countries she's dreamed of going for a long time. Karen is into gaming (and a veteran competitive gamer), but also enjoys crafting, interior decor, and of course, napping.

Rob, on the other hand, has not needed to move around (and Karen probably would not have met him if he had!) He was born in south Manchester in a town called Bramhall. He got a degree in Computer Science at Manchester Metropolitan University, and he's got a surname that surprisingly and hilariously gets misspelled more often than Karen's. Rob is also into gaming, 3D printing, DIY projects, and likes to have a very clean Alfa.
